The photo is of us having just arrived in Fraserburgh, pleased after quite a hard row from Wick.
It was great to be greeted by some of the local Fraserburgh RNLI team. Laura got to go out with them on Sunday and drove their boat. Brilliant! Thanks to everyone who has made contributions to the RNLI on my JustGiving page.
So, beautiful Scotland is coming to a close. After weeks of heading north, it was a surprise to suddenly turn east for what seemed to be a very short time and then south. My thoughts, too, are turning towards the finish at Burnham-on-Crouch and home. (And the limericks, of course.)
Interestingly enough, many people have messaged me saying, "it's all downhill from now on". I've got a feeling though, that with two of the longest legs still to complete, there could well be a mighty sting in the tail. We'll see!
Scarborough next...
