I had a couple of lovely moments last week.
Firstly, a friend asked me to write a few words about marine plastic pollution for our local parish magazine (both 'Before the row' and 'After the row ' stories), explaining to me that she hadn't known anything about the problem before I had brought it to her attention; and now she wants to spread the word.
Secondly, another friend phoned to tell me that, again because of what I had told her about the issue, she had gone out and bought a SodaStream so she could stop buying carbonated water in plastic bottles. I did read somewhere recently, that all the plastic water bottles created in any one week would (if put end to end) circle the earth!
Small things. But as Fode says, change happens one conversation at a time.
